Where we started

In 2014, we started by selling various branded menswear in shops, shopping malls and trade shows. Being there selling it first hand, it gave us a very good idea of what people wanted. As well as sales records, we learnt a lot just by monitoring how customers were reacting when an item first caught their eye. Eventually, we found some of the brands we were stocking (our suppliers), were coming to us, to ask what we thought would be the best sort of items and designs for them to make next. It didn't take too long before we realised the time had come to put our own name on our ideas and create our own brand. Today, our aim is to continue to grow and constantly expand the range available to customers, whilst keeping good quality, sustainable clothing at a realistic affordable price. Our Founder

Our founder Steve describes growing up as a kid in the 90's . "All I remember was that generation of great football and great music, Britpop was massive, and all of the older Mod, Ska, Northern Soul and Motown music was always on everywhere". My Dad was a DJ from the 60s until the 00s, so I was around it, all the time. Steve "I'm a huge fan of the present and also love Nostalgia so have a good knowledge of past artists, times and cultures too!" As a lover of traditional British culture Steve was one of the country's youngest pub landlords at the time, aged just 24. In a very British town, many of the pub regulars were a bit older than Steve, they also had a great love for the music and all the cultures that Steve had grown up with. Steve "It's now 15 years on from the pub era and I can't help but notice the love for all of these amazing times noted above is still out there, maybe more than ever. Knebworth is modelled on and is a loving tribute to all of that and so much more - hence our tagline " some things never change".
